Face people head-on

Don’t chat behind someone’s back.

Don’t tell everyone else your issue with a certain employee.

They can’t change it.

If you want change, talk to the person directly.

Find a time to approach the person (do not ambush them). Share your concerns and how they are making you feel. They may not even be aware of how their behaviour is affecting you. Give them a chance. Be prepared to concede that perhaps you have opportunities for improvement as well.

Imagine if everyone was talking about you!

What would you like to see happen?

An effective, supportive, and thriving organizational culture needs individuals to step up.

Be brave.

Be supportive.

Be instrumental in building and maintaining an inclusive culture.

Be the change needed if your organization suffers from whispers and gossip.

Start today.
